2020 Exhibits announced that Pete Babine has been promoted to Vice President, Global Events, effective immediately.
As Vice President, Babine will lead engagement, and event strategy for the firm’s global client base, overseeing the company’s relationships with hundreds of organizations, including leading brands like the Houston Super Bowl Committee, BMC Software, Stewart & Stevenson and many Fortune 500 companies. From a strategic and innovation perspective, Babine will lead strategic event marketing and management initiatives, across a broad spectrum of engagements, including proprietary events, sales conferences, internal and customer meetings, award shows, trade show activations, and product launches.
With over 20 years of experience in strategic event marketing, experiential engagements, creative project management, and concept development, Babine has a strong, proven background in the delivery of unique, impactful events and engagements that move the needle, compelling audiences to action. He plays a pivotal role in the design and delivery of comprehensive brand strategy and objectives, working in collaboration with 2020 Exhibits’ award-winning multidisciplinary team including creative, design and engineering, global program logistics, project management, and planning.

Recent activations include the Touchdown Tour, Volunteer Recruitment Center, and NFL on Fox Sports at Discovery Green, for the Houston Super Bowl Committee. Under Babine’s direction, BMC Software’s iconic Public Sector Forum in Washington, D.C. and User World sales conferences in Vancouver, B.C., Prague, Lisbon, and San Francisco were unforgettable, game-changing events. He spearheads the creative design and delivery of client and partner engagements, including most recently a once-in-a-lifetime private event, aptly themed “Under the Sea – An Epic Celebration.” Together with the 2020 Exhibits Global Events Team, Babine transformed a large, industrial showroom into an inspired and inspiring party space, with the perfect blend of dramatic imagery, personal touchpoints, and unforgettable moments. From the minute guests walked into the building, it felt as though they were entering an underwater paradise. Stepping onto a wooden boardwalk, they could see (and almost feel!) the sand underfoot as they were immersed in an ocean reef, walking through an aquarium-like entry portal to the party space. Sky-high waves of fabric draping were awash in vibrant shades of soft blue lighting, adding a cool look and feel within the party space. Pausing just long enough to breathe it all in, guests moved further into this ocean paradise walking alongside swaths of curtains that served as a massive, flowing video wall featuring scenes from the sea. From the rich jeweled tones of the deep blue sea to bright sparkling lights, the artistry and craftsmanship of the 2020 Exhibits Global Events Team set the stage, for this epic, once-in-a-lifetime event.
Sporting events bring even more to the forefront for Babine, delivering beautiful and thematic Super Bowl private event celebrations over the last eight (8) years. Infusing the feel, flavor, and flare of each host city in these private events, most recently, Babine delivered Super Bowl 50’s Golden Ticket Extravaganza. Under a soaring, brightly-lit, arched Golden Gate bridge, guests stepped into a dynamic and engaging space celebrating Super Bowl 50. Sipping the Bay Area’s finest beverages, party-goers paused in the Alcatraz-themed bar while enjoying a taste of San Francisco, Ghirardelli’s luxe chocolates. Stretching far and wide across massive video walls, the Big Game was visible from every seat in the house, including row upon row of genuine stadium seating.
