Project Manager All Locations

A Project Manager at 2020 Exhibits serves as the liaison on all aspects of production for a project by coordinating work with all departments; facilitating information between and all internal support teams from sales to logistics and in conjunction with Account Management. Expectations include the ability to control the project flow and to make critical decisions ensuring the successful completion of projects while subscribing to the company's vision and ensuring complete client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Direct exhibit projects through production
  • Ensure project quality standards are met and timely project completion
  • Review prospective projects and estimates in collaboration with AE's to determine feasibility
  • Lead construction meetings to verify expectations, schedules
  • Review work orders addressing questions (new build construction, lead times, use of materials, etc)
  • Clear and effective communication skills working with internal teams.
  • The ability to read blueprints and a working knowledge of standard display building materials and techniques

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant experience in the trade show exhibits/events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PC and internet
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to anticipate problems, analyze and proactively determine alternate solutions
  • Must be accurate, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work flexible hours under extreme pressure and maintain deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task, change priorities, manage multiple projects
  • Ability to assume responsibility for completion of projects in the absence of direct supervision

SAMPLE OF DUTIES REQUIRED:

  • Communicate with account teams (AE and AM) on each project from start to finish ensuring each project is up to 2020 Exhibits standards along with meeting the client’s expectations
  • Attend put to work meeting to discuss the best way to execute upcoming projects
  • Make files for production (Service Group, Wood Shop, and Detailing) send task to each department involved on each project
  • Ensure relevant files are attached to projects and have been approved for production
  • Provide the graphics department with correct graphic sizes. Graphic sizes will also be provided to detailing department so graphic sizes can be put on the detail drawings
  • Review detail drawing and or metal specs before drawing go out to the service group and wood shop
  • Work with purchasing to make sure the proper materials are ordered
  • Photograph completed exhibits and attach files to project
  • Ensure manifest and packing list are completed and uploaded to project
  • Work with technician packing down outbound exhibits to ensure that photos, metal specs, manifest and packing list are included inside the crate
  • Manage inbound property to ensure that inbound work order instructions are completed
