Account Manager (Project & Sales Support) - Signage Houston, TX

The Account Manager will help manage projects and support our Account Executives in the ADA Signage Department. The Account Manager will work on all aspects of a project by facilitating information between all internal support teams from Sales to Logistics in conjunction with project management. The AM should have the ability to control the project flow and to make critical decisions to ensure the successful completion of projects while subscribing to the company’s vision and ensuring the complete satisfaction of the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Help build and maintain client relationships with Account Executives, including attending meetings as needed and timely email communication
  • General Contractor coordination; reviews sign packages
  • Direct project through in-house production; respond to and task individuals, prepare folders, and schedule internal meetings
  • Ensure quality standards are met and project completion is on time
  • Work with estimating to make sure proposals are estimated correctly and meet client budgets
  • Creating and formatting proposals and change orders in company system. Collect approvals from clients as required
  • Perform sign code research and apply for permits with government agencies
  • Collaborating with the design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure all departments have a clear understanding of project needs
  • Track punch items/lists ensuring prompt communication, fabrication, and installation
  • Work with vendors and purchasing to ensure materials and deadlines are met
  • Ensure projects meet profit margins and manage issues which may impact profitability
  • Work with accounting to ensure project is billed correctly and on time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Read/ Interpret/ Markup blue prints and construction documents
  • Familiarity with Multifamily and/or Corporate sign packages a plus
  • Read and understand project contracts
  • Knowledge of display building materials and techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PC, and internet
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate problems, analyze, and problem solve to reach alternate solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work flexible hours as needed to maintain deadlines
