Every year the Business Marketing Association Lantern Awards recognizes the best of the best in quality creative and strategic business-to-business communications. BMA Houston announced the winners on November 19th with 2020 Exhibits earning five accolades, including two Lantern Awards and three Awards of Excellence, for leading design and marketing excellence. And the icing on the cake was the Grand Finale with 2020 Exhibits winning the Best of Show!
2020 Exhibits earned the crowd favorite Best of Show and a Lantern Award in the Fixed Installation category for the dynamic and compelling Danos Corporate Headquarters corporate interior. As a valued strategic partner for today’s biggest names in energy for more than 68 years, clients trust Danos. Employees spend their careers dedicated to serving Danos clients. It is in this spirit that Danos challenged 2020 Exhibits, Gensler and Unleaded Communications to bring to life their vision for a new corporate headquarters. Sophisticated and timeless this award-winning corporate headquarters artfully blends raw and polished elements to weave a powerful story of the Danos journey. Drawing inspiration from these strong images and a deep, abiding sense of the Danos’ culture, 2020 Exhibits worked collaboratively to deliver beautiful, stunning brand touches and custom elements. The new corporate headquarters stand in harmony with the surrounding area and celebrate all that is Danos.
In the Agency Promotion/Website category, 2020 Exhibits earned a Lantern Award for their compelling and engaging corporate website, 2020exhibits.com. Through consistent, strong and compelling branding and content, the site designed as a powerful magnet to attract new prospects, opportunities, leads, employees and to increase overall brand awareness. With additional rich-media content, including videos, the creative reinforces our strong online presence through the use of distinctive materials, photos and key-word rich, compelling content. Bold imagery and photography transform the design, with captivating messaging and branding woven throughout the site.
Recognized for outstanding exhibit design, 2020 Exhibits received an Award of Excellence in the Large Exhibit category for EXPRO Illuminates at OTC2015. With the perfect recipe focused on form, function, and fun, EXPRO was illuminating at OTC2015, helping the company capture and captivate attendees in new, dynamic ways. EXPRO owned their slice of the show floor with creative that was both whimsical and dramatic. All eyes were EXPRO bound with their iconic lion floating sky-high, capturing attention from far and wide. A feature wall attracted attendees like moths to a flame as it fluttered and shined, appearing to light up and shift, with the slightest movement.
An Award of Excellence in the Large Exhibit category celebrated this show-stopping favorite, High Tech High Touch: NOV at OTC2015. The exhibit captured attention from far and wide, with three large interactive video mural displays showcasing the NOV story across projects and technologies. In sharp contrast, those seeking a more casual conversation could lean on the large NOV whiteboard tables, to sketch and share drawings, ideas and more. Sharply focused on engagement, this sleek and modern beauty was full to overflowing throughout the show. Clients, prospects and the media engaged as never before, elevating and reinforcing NOV’s extraordinary brand presence.
For excellence in interactive and experience design, an Award of Excellence was presented 2020 Exhibits for the highly engaging, interactive presentation entitled: Seeing is Believing: Elevating Corporate Interiors and Environments. A simple, clean and intuitive design invites the viewer in – never pushy or brash. Soon enough, it moves from presentation to a conversation with targeted messaging to capture attention. With a sophisticated target audience of architects, designers, builders, and general contractors, all keenly focused fine-tune details, top-notch talent, and executing design with a visual conversation in mind, this presentation speaks volumes.
“I am delighted by the work, creative, and results produced by the 2020 Exhibits team on behalf of our clients,” said Bob Babine, president 2020 Exhibits. “It’s an honor to work in collaboration with industry leaders and to earn the recognition of our peers, the judges, and the BMA Lanterns.
