2020 Exhibits was honored in Las Vegas by Event Design magazine’s 2009 MOD Awards for Best Extrusion-Anchored Design for the Red Bull Art of Can exhibit. 2020 Exhibits also ranked as one of the top two finalists in the Best Fabric-Anchored Design category for their SBM Atlantia Offshore Technology Conference exhibit.
The MOD Awards recognize modular exhibit design and is the industry’s preeminent competition for creators of portable and systems-based exhibits and event structures. With a nod to popular voting-based programs such as American Idol, this year’s event was the first major industry award program that allowed for a live electronic vote on category finalists. Leaders in the portable, modular and custom exhibit industry, all in town for EXHIBITOR2009, were able to choose finalists in six categories. Over 250 designs were entered in the competition. Through panel discussions and voting, 12 finalists made it to the audience voting round. 2020 Exhibits’ Red Bull Art of Can Exhibit received 62 percent of the votes in its category to earn the top spot for this year’s award.
