Account Manager St. Louis, MO

The Account Manager will act on behalf of their assigned Account Executive on all aspects of a project by coordinating work with all departments; facilitating information between all internal support teams from sales to logistics in conjunction with project management.

Expectations include the ability to control the project flow and to make critical decisions ensuring the successful completion of projects while subscribing to the company's vision and ensuring complete client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Work with Account Executives through the sales and delivery process
  • Prepare services estimate and proposals
  • Arrange for all onsite services as appropriate including labor, electrical, drayage, etc
  • Schedule and attend Put to Work meetings to kick off new projects
  • Provided detailed work order instructions for the warehouse
  • Manage client inventory and data in Project
  • Post show job cost analysis to ensure target margins are met
  • Work with Account Executive to ensure effective client communication on all projects
  • Research shows to ensure that upcoming projects comply with rules and regulations
  • Assign tasks to internal groups for work required on projects
  • Ensure relevant files are attached to projects and have been approved for production
  • Enter and/or update client inventory as their inventory changes to ensure accurate information
  • Prepare service estimates and aid Account Executives with the assembly of proposals for client consideration
  • Post show follow up to ensure client owned items are returned
  • Process change orders as required
  • Order show services
  • Provide relevant forms and information to show management, fire marshal or other necessary officials
  • Provide complete project information to traveling supervisors to ensure a smooth l&D process
  • Support group objectives by aiding other Account Managers when they are behind or need assistance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant experience in the trade show exhibits/events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PC and internet
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to anticipate problems, analyze and proactively determine alternate solutions
  • Must be accurate, organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work flexible hours under extreme pressure and maintain deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task, change priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to assume responsibility for completion of projects in the absence of direct supervision
